Lochner Mentorship Program Featured in Texas WET Magazine

We are proud to share that Lochner’s Mentorship Program was recently highlighted in the Texas WET Magazine for its innovative approach to employee development, leadership cultivation, and cross-functional engagement. The feature, titled “Mentor Up! How to Start a Mentoring Program That Makes a Difference,” showcases how our structured, inclusive program is shaping the future of our organization and the broader industry.

Developed and co-led by Shwetha Pandurangi, PE, CFM, Lochner’s Central Texas Client Relations Director, the program was recognized for:

  • Strengthening leadership pipelines by pairing emerging professionals with seasoned mentors.
  • Building cross-functional, resilient teams that collaborate across offices and disciplines.
  • Enhancing job satisfaction and retention through meaningful development pathways.
  • Promoting inclusion, encouraging broad participation across backgrounds, experience levels, and expertise.
  • Delivering measurable outcomes, with 80% rating the program “Excellent” and 92% valuing the capstone celebration.

The article highlights the program’s capstone event in Austin, which brought together mentors, mentees, and industry leaders for workshops, networking, and reflective learning. It also reinforces that Lochner’s mentorship initiative is transforming individual career paths while strengthening organizational culture, engagement, and leadership readiness across our growing company.

We are honored by this recognition and grateful to the Steering Committee, program leaders, mentors, and mentees who brought this pilot to life.
