Lochner Sponsors the 2026 Nueces River Authority Summit
Lochner, an Egis company, was proud to sponsor and participate in the 2026 Nueces River Authority Summit, where water professionals, agencies, and community leaders gathered to discuss regional water priorities, infrastructure investment, and community resilience.
Shwetha Pandurangi, PE, CFM, moderated the panel discussion, “Small Staff, Big Standards: Practical Compliance Tools for Rural Texas Utilities.” She was joined by Katie Zheng, PE, PMP, who represented Lochner as a panelist alongside Ashley Bennis, Program Coordinator for Clean Coast Texas, and Tom Barnett, Board Liaison with the Texas Water Development Board.
The panel explored strategies to maintain reliable service, meet regulatory requirements, and successfully deliver projects despite staffing and financial constraints. Attendees gained practical perspectives and tools that can be applied within their own organizations and communities.
Beyond the panel session, discussions focused on regional water issues, integrated water management approaches, and funding strategies. These conversations highlighted the importance of collaboration in advancing sustainable water solutions for Texas communities.
The summit provided a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, learn from peers, and strengthen relationships across the region. As we continue our integration with Egis, we remain committed to helping communities address evolving water infrastructure needs through innovative and sustainable solutions.
