Alex Magdaleno Receives Texas ITE 2025 Younger Member of the Year – Rising Star Award Recipient

We’re proud to celebrate Engineering Associate Alex Magdaleno for being named the Texas Institute of Transportation Engineers (TexITE) 2025 Younger Member of the Year/Rising Star Award recipient at the TexITE District Meeting in El Paso, Texas.

This statewide recognition honors a younger member who demonstrates exceptional leadership, commitment to the transportation profession, and active involvement across ITE’s local, district, and international levels.

Building on his experience as 2024 President of the South Texas Section of ITE, Alex has been a driving force within the organization—leading the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Student Chapter, founding three new ITE professional chapters across South Texas, and now serving as South Texas ITE Immediate Past President and Texas ITE Younger Members Chair. His focus on mentorship, professional development, and community outreach has strengthened ITE across Texas and beyond.

Recognized as one of ITE International’s Young Leaders to Follow in 2024, Alex continues to shape the future of transportation with passion and dedication. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement!
