
Michael Burns Joins Triunity, A Lochner Company, As Program Management and Advisory Director
Lochner is pleased to announce Michael “Mike” Burns, PE, PgMP, DBIA has joined Triunity, A Lochner Company, as Program Management and Advisory Director.
Based in Lochner’s West Region, Mike will direct program management initiatives and teams in the delivery of sustainable infrastructure solutions. With over 30 years of industry experience, including 25 years in program management and strategic growth, Mike has led major public and private infrastructure projects spanning the transportation, aviation, and water sectors.

Prior to Lochner, Mike served as America’s Infrastructure Director at an international consultancy, where he led strategic growth, staff development, and client delivery strategies. His leadership secured Delivery Partner roles for major infrastructure programs, including the Gateway Development Commission Hudson Tunnel Project in New York and New Jersey and the Metrolinx Subway Extensions and GO Transit Expansion Programs in Toronto.
Mike’s career also encompasses executive leadership, enterprise risk management, and governance oversight for multi-billion-dollar projects at a global consulting firm, with a portfolio that includes San Francisco International Airport, Hialeah Water Treatment Plant, and Etihad Rail.
Mike holds a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Montana State University, Bozeman.
