
Rick Klatt Joins Lochner
Richard Klatt, PE joins the Lochner Austin office as Senior Project Manager and Associate Vice President, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the transportation industry to Lochner. He has extensive experience in the design and project management of both rural roadway and large urban transportation projects delivered through traditional and alternative delivery methods. Through his experience and multi-disciplinary approach, Rick has successfully delivered projects from planning and design through final construction.
Rick has served a wide variety of clients including the Texas Department of Transportation, Brazoria Toll Road Authority, Alamo Regional Mobility Authority, and various municipalities in Texas. He has delivered large projects across Texas serving as the design manager for $1.3 billion SH 130 Segments 1 through 4 and as the project manager for the independent engineering contract on SH 130 Segments 5 and 6. Prior to joining Lochner, he was part of the General Engineering Consultant team for the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority’s (CTRMA) 183A Phase III project in Austin. Rick managed all aspects of the project including the environmental assessment, development of preliminary and final geometric design, and procurement and oversight of the final design.
