Dallas Office Volunteers for Challenge Air’s Fly Day

Looking forward to the firm’s 75th year anniversary in 2019, Lochner offices are celebrating throughout 2018 by giving back to their local communities through a service activity of their choosing. This week, we are featuring the efforts of our Dallas office. On Saturday, May 19, Dallas office employees spent their morning volunteering for Challenge Air’s Fly Day at the McKinney National Airport. This nonprofit charity provides children and youth with special needs the opportunity to build confidence and self-esteem through the gift of flight. Employees wore neon safety vests and performed a variety of activities, from guiding children and their families down the red carpet to their airplanes to taking family photos for those in attendance. More than 200 volunteers and 18 pilots participated in this event, giving 94 kids and their families the opportunity to fly.
