Brandon Cloward Joins Lochner
Brandon Cloward, PE joins Lochner’s Salt Lake City office as a Senior Associate and Senior Project Manager, and brings 14 years of experience in project and design management for highway projects primarily in Utah. He has managed numerous contracts issued by the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), in addition to managing several contracts for local municipalities such as Spanish Fork, West Jordan, South Jordan, Bluffdale, Utah Transit Authority, and Salt Lake City.
In a previous role as a Design Manager at UDOT, Brandon provided design oversight for several design-build projects ranging from $38 million to $124 million in value. One project in particular was the $115 million I-15; 500 North to I-215 Widening project through Salt Lake City, which involved replacing three structures (one used an innovative self-propelled modular transporters approach), and widening I-15 by adding a high-occupancy toll¬¬ lane in both directions.
Brandon values the importance of delivering projects within client scope, schedule, and budget constraints and brings a strategic approach to project teaming—resulting in a tangible benefit to our clients, as well as innovative project delivery. Proof of that is the $60 million in projects that he has delivered for his clients over the past year while he was supporting local design-build pursuits, design-bid-build projects, and providing management support for NDOT’s safety design projects.
“Lochner is committed to providing quality services to clients and continuing to build strong relationships within our industry. Brandon’s addition to the team will only strengthen this commitment. We are thrilled to have him join our Salt Lake City team!” H.G. Kunzler, Jr., PE, Vice President and Salt Lake City Office Manager.
