Lochner’s Houston office recently raised money to support the Houston Food Bank, a non-profit that distributes food and other essentials to 18 counties within Southeast Texas. Our employees, many of whom are working from home, raised over $500. Their donation will provide the equivalent of 1500 meals to Texans in need.

Steve Evans, senior right of way project manager from Lochner’s Houston office, said, “Because we can’t do anything in person right now, giving a monetary donation to the food bank felt like the right thing to do. I had seen on TV the food bank wasn’t as stocked up as it usually is because of COVID-19, so our office was glad to pitch in. The food bank does a lot of good for people in Houston. They help out during disasters in addition to their regular work. Our employees are fortunate to have food, so we’re happy to help people who don’t have much.”

Founded in 1982, the Houston Food Bank is a member of Feeding America and has a distribution network of 1,500 community partners.
