Bellevue, Everett, and Lacey Offices Provide 6,442 Meals

Lochner’s Bellevue, Everett, and Lacey offices recently donated money and non-perishable food items to the Northwest Harvest Food Bank and the La Conner Sunrise Food Bank, two non-profit organizations that provide food to Washington residents in need. In June 2020, Lochner’s Washington offices hosted a virtual food drive, asking employees to donate either money or food. While the goal was to raise $200 or 100 pounds of food, the staff raised $1100 and collected 169 pounds of food. Their donations will provide 6,442 meals.

Senior Project Manager Jeff Cook from Lochner’s Bellevue office said, “One of the reasons we chose to support food banks this summer was because of the pandemic and the resulting increase of food insecurity. The virtual food drive allowed us to help families in our communities in a way that could easily be done from home. We hope the outcome is that we substantively touch the lives of our neighbors despite shelter-in-place and social distancing measures.”
