Don Skelton Promoted to Area Manager

Lochner is pleased to announce the promotion of Don Skelton, PE, vice president, to the role of area manager for the firm’s operations in Florida as well as construction engineering and inspection in Kentucky and Tennessee.

Don joined Lochner in 2012 as manager of the firm’s Tampa office following a 23-year career with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). At FDOT he served in various leadership roles, including District 7 secretary, director of planning and programs, and director of transportation development. He has also served as a member of the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority, several metropolitan and regional planning boards, and is the current president of the Westshore Alliance, a group that leads one of the largest business districts in the state of Florida. Don’s promotion to Lochner area manager is the direct result of his strong business operations, marketing, and staff management skills during his time as Tampa office manager.
