Lochner acquired KOA in December 2022. The 100+person firm has offices in Monterey Park, Orange, Ontario, San Diego, and Culver City, California.


Armstrong Consultants, a Lochner Company, specializes exclusively in airport planning, engineering, and construction administration services. Serving the airport community since 1985, Armstrong has completed over 3,000 improvement projects at more than 130 airports, ranging from small rural general aviation airports to business jet executive airports, commercial service airports, and military airfields throughout the western United States.

Lochner acquired Armstrong Consultants in December 2022. The 45+person firm has offices in Grand Junction, CO; Albuquerque, NM; Casper, WY; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Reno, NV; and Santa Rosa, CA.


K Friese + Associates, a Lochner Company, is an established and trusted civil engineering consultancy providing water/wastewater, drainage, transportation, aviation, and municipal services to a diverse range of public sector clients in large and small communities throughout the State of Texas.

Lochner acquired K Friese + Associates in May 2023. The 88-person firm is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with additional offices in Houston, Round Rock, and San Antonio.


Founded in 2003 by brothers Jonnie Thomas and Marvin Thomas, Triunity delivers best-in-class program/project management and controls, construction management, and specialized communication systems/electrical engineering services for transit and rail agencies, as well as road and highway, aviation, water and wastewater, and municipal clients throughout the U.S.

Lochner acquired Triunity in November 2023. The 90-person firm is headquartered in Denver, CO, with additional offices in Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; and Boston, MA.
