Lochner Sponsors Blood Drive with The Blood Connection

As a part of Lochner’s Giving Back initiative, the Raleigh office recently sponsored a blood drive with The Blood Connection. The organization is an independently managed, non-profit community blood center, governed by a board of local leaders with centers in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. Their mission is to support healthcare partners with adequate, safe, cost-effective blood supplies and services.

Lochner’s sponsored blood drive collected 12 units of whole blood for the Blood Connection and raised monetary donations for the V Foundation. Formed by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano, the V Foundation’s mission is to fund game-changing research and all-star scientists to accelerate Victory Over Cancer® and save lives.
