Martin Krueger Joins Lochner

Martin Krueger, PLA joins the Lochner Dallas office and CEI team as senior landscape architect and senior associate, bringing more than 32 years of experience in transportation, planning, and urban design. In this role, Martin will provide visual quality assurance oversight for ongoing North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) toll road construction and corridor expansion projects.

Martin has served on a variety of transit and transportation projects focusing on transit-oriented development and context sensitive solutions/design. In Texas, he has worked on several projects for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) system including the $104 million, 2.76 mile extension of the Blue Line and the 10-block Commerce Street Complete Street Conceptual Plan within the Downtown Dallas Central Business District. For the past 12 years Martin has served as the visual quality assurance manager as a part of NTTA’s program management consultant team. He has prepared and updated NTTA’s Design Guidelines, which direct the aesthetic design of all NTTA project design elements including bridges, retaining walls, and landscape improvements, and has developed and implemented a visual quality training program for NTTA construction managers and contractors. He has been involved with numerous NTTA projects including the Dallas North Tollway, President George Bush Turnpike, Sam Rayburn Tollway and Chisholm Trail Parkway. Throughout his career Martin has also served numerous State DOT clients for projects in Texas, Florida, and Washington.
