Chris Flageolle Presents at the ACPA Conference

Tomorrow at 1:45 p.m., Lochner’s Chris Flageolle will be presenting at the 40th Annual Portland Cement Concrete Pavement Conference hosted by the Missouri/Kansas Chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA). Chris is an aviation construction services manager in our Kansas City office. His presentation during the Airfield Paving Session will discuss the Runway 18-36 Reconstruction Project at the Jesse Viertel Memorial Airport.

Lochner has provided aviation services to the City of Boonville since the Jesse Viertel Memorial Airport was built in 1973. This includes construction services for Runway 18-36’s reconstruction. The runway originally began as a narrow asphalt strip but was widened and extended over the years. The reconstruction project included soil stabilization, recycled aggregate base course, and Portland cement concrete surfacing. The edge lighting system was also replaced with LEDs and new navigational aids. Chris served as the project manager during the construction phase.
