Dean Gustafson Presents at Operations Academy

Dean Gustafson, PE, PTOE, Lochner’s National TSMO/ITS Practice Lead, recently presented on the privatization of transportation systems management & operations (TSMO) at the Operations Academy Senior Management Program held in Baltimore, Maryland. In his presentation, Dean compared TSMO work performed by state employees and contractors/consultants. He also discussed important factors to consider when selecting an approach to TSMO.

The Operations Academy is an annual, two-week immersion program geared towards educating participants on TSMO and its potential application within their organizations. All attendees must be nominated by a local, state, or federal transportation agency to be considered for admission.
