Houston Office Hydrates Climbers

As part of Lochner’s Giving Back Initiative, employees throughout the firm participate in an annual group service project that benefits the local communities in which they live, work, and play. This week, we are featuring the volunteer efforts of our Houston office for Big Climb Houston, a 51-floor vertical stair climb that raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). On May 18, 2019, Lochner’s Houston employees spent an hour and a half serving seven gallons of water to over 270 registered runners. The event raised $104,155 for blood cancer research and gave our staff the opportunity to meet and encourage survivors as well as their family and friends.

Big Climb Houston 2019 was sponsored by Planet Fitness and took place at the Brookfield Properties’ 1600 Smith Street in downtown Houston. All proceeds were donated to LLS, a nationwide, non-profit organization that funds cancer research and offers support to patients, survivors, and their families.
