Kevin Dickey, PE Joins Lochner

Kevin Dickey, PE joins Lochner’s Waco office as an Associate Vice President and Senior Project Manager. With more 32 years of experience, Kevin brings a strong technical background in highway and bridge planning and design as well as an applied knowledge of the processes and procedures of local governments and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

Prior to joining Lochner, Kevin served as the Deputy District Engineer for TxDOT’s Austin District. In this role, he assisted the district engineer with managing 542 employees who were involved in the design, construction, and maintenance of the state highway system within their 11-county district. His leadership and extensive design experience also helped him to lead the project development of the Mobility35 program, an initiative that sought to expand I-35 through the Austin District. For this program, he established open dialogue between TxDOT and elected officials as well as managed the schematics for multiple operational improvement projects and interchange designs along the corridor. Kevin’s background also includes serving on the Governing Board of the Combined Transportation, Emergency & Communications Center. The board provided leadership to the multi-agency organization tasked with transportation management and emergency response in Travis County, giving Kevin a multifaceted perspective on transportation improvement projects.
