Connecticut Design Office Participates in Community Clean Up

Looking forward to the firm’s 75th year anniversary in 2019, Lochner offices are celebrating throughout 2018 by giving back to their local communities through a service activity of their choosing. This week, we are featuring the efforts of our Connecticut Design office. On September 5, employees volunteered with Riverfront Recapture, an organization that maintains the parks and trails on the Hartford and East Hartford sides of the Connecticut River. They braved the heat and humidity to weed, rake, and trim planting beds alongside the Founders Bridge, and to assist with the demolition of an old ranger shed. Because the Lochner office is only a short walk from the river, employees regularly walk the area at lunch, so they were very happy to be giving back to a part of the community that they enjoy.
