Pittsburgh Office Knocks Volunteering Out of the Park

Looking forward to the firm’s 75th year anniversary in 2019, Lochner offices are celebrating throughout 2018 by giving back to their local communities through a service activity of their choosing. This week, we are featuring the efforts of our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. On Saturday, June 23, 2018, employees volunteered for the Miracle League of the South Hills, where they assisted children with special needs play baseball. The Miracle League of the South Hills eliminated the challenges that prevent children with special needs from playing baseball by building a custom-designed field. This custom baseball field has wheelchair accessible dugouts, as well as a completely flat, cushioned surface to help prevent injuries. Pittsburgh employees promoted teamwork and compassion while volunteering, ultimately aiding the Miracle League of South Hills in their efforts to provide every child and adult the opportunity to play baseball.
