Lochner Welcomes Ken Hawkins, PE, as California Area Manager

We are pleased to announce that Ken Hawkins, PE, has joined Lochner as California Area Manager. With nearly 40 years of experience advancing transportation and infrastructure programs across the United States, Ken brings a strong record of leadership in operations, program management, engineering, design, and construction.

Throughout his career, Ken has played a pivotal role in delivering complex transportation, rail and transit, aviation, and water infrastructure projects. His experience includes overseeing multidisciplinary teams and guiding alternative delivery and design-build programs for public agencies across California and the western U.S.

Prior to joining Lochner, Ken served in leadership roles supporting western U.S. operations for a global engineering and project management consultant. In these roles, he provided strategic direction for business growth, client engagement, and the successful execution of major public infrastructure programs.

“Ken is a recognized leader in our industry, and we are excited to welcome him to Lochner,” said Danielle Smith, West Regional Manager. “His experience in delivering public infrastructure and building teams will help us continue our success in California.”

Ken will be based in Southern California, where he will oversee Lochner’s operations across the state and drive strategic initiatives that enhance client relationships, expand service offerings, and advance project delivery excellence.
