City of Kyle Breaks Ground on Kohlers to Seton and Bebee Road (West) Projects

The City of Kyle has broken ground on two key transportation projects—the Kohlers to Seton Project and the Bebee Road (West) Project. Both are part of Kyle’s 2022 voter-approved Road Bond, which includes eight projects spanning approximately 10.3 miles of new, widened, or reconstructed roadways citywide. Lochner was selected to serve as the City’s General Engineering Consultant (GEC) and is supporting these projects to improve safety, mobility, and connectivity for Kyle’s growing community.

The Kohlers to Seton Project will construct 1.11 miles of Kohlers Crossing from the I-35 northbound frontage road to Seton Parkway. Improvements include curb and gutter, storm sewer, illumination, signals, sidewalks, retaining walls, water and wastewater lines, and the Vybe Trail. The project also adds a new northbound right-turn lane along I-35.

The Bebee Road (West) Project will reconstruct and realign 0.745 miles of roadway with similar upgrades, plus a rectangular rapid flashing beacon, a new roundabout at Bebee Road/Kohlers Crossing/Seton Parkway, and a northbound right-turn lane from I-35 to Bebee Road.
