Lochner Presents at Purdue Road School Transportation Conference and Expo
Environmental Department Manager Lisa Vale, Project Manager and Roadway Ecologist Tony Miller, and Senior Environmental Manager Kevin Connor recently presented at the 111th annual 2025 Purdue Road School Transportation Conference and Expo.
Their session, National Wildlife Crossings Program: Enhancing Roadway Safety, highlighted Lochner’s expertise in wildlife crossings, showcasing our pilot study with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), innovative solutions being implemented nationwide, and strategies for securing federal funding for future projects in Indiana. The presentation reinforced Lochner’s commitment to advancing roadway safety through forward-thinking that benefits both infrastructure and environmental preservation.
The two-day event gathered thousands of transportation professionals, including Indiana officials, consultants, and suppliers, with over 225 sessions across 19 technical tracks on transportation innovations and issues.
