Last month, Lochner’s Lexington office volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to help build a home for families within the community. The group spent the day installing vinyl siding, soffits, flashing and trim work around the exterior of the home and worked to add studs, bracing, and supports for interior walls. They had fun swinging hammers, using chop saws, and operating nail guns, but found the most satisfaction knowing their hard work will make a difference in the lives of a deserving local family.

Lochner’s independent IRS-registered 501(c)(3) charity, Lochner Cares, provided paid leave for the employees who participated in the event. Originally established to assist employees during times of unusual distress, such as natural disasters, family emergencies, expenses not covered by health insurance or homeowner/renter insurance, or other financial catastrophe, Lochner Cares also provides matching contributions for charities and community service paid leave. Generously funded solely by donations from Lochner employees, Lochner Cares provides a platform for employees to anonymously assist fellow colleagues and contribute to the betterment of our communities.

Thank you to our Lexington staff for dedicating time to giving back through Habitat for Humanity!
