Lexington Office Supports Community with Donations

Lochner’s Lexington office recently donated over 200 pounds of boxed food and canned goods to God’s Pantry Food Bank, a local food bank that serves 50 counties in Central and Eastern Kentucky. The food our employees collected will provide 250 meals for local families in need. Our staff also raised $300 for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which will help provide relief for hurricane victims in the Gulf region.

Phil Logsdon, Lexington’s office manager, said, “In the past, we’ve done a lot of hands-on volunteer activities, but this year that was more challenging because of COVID. The food drive was something people could participate in without worrying about social distancing. Some employees grocery shopped specifically for the food drive instead of just clearing out their pantries, so our donation box was overflowing. I was really pleased with the participation level. Our office is definitely a giving office.”
