Austin Office Volunteers at Local Food Bank

Looking forward to the firm’s 75th year anniversary in 2019, Lochner offices are celebrating throughout 2018 by giving back to their local communities through a service activity of their choosing. This week, we are featuring the efforts of our Austin, Texas office. Employees spent the evening of April 10th volunteering at the Central Texas Food Bank which serves nearly 46,000 Central Texans across 21 counties per week. As product recovery volunteers, employees inspected, sorted, and prepared 12 pound bags of “stewies” which included fresh carrots, onions, and cabbage for partnering agencies and families. Austin office employees ultimately helped provide 4,510 meals for Central Texans in need.
