St. George Office Packs 250 Meals for Local Children

Lochner’s St. George office volunteered at Tan’s Treats, a local nonprofit that provides food to Washington County children in need. On October 23, 2019, our employees spent five hours sorting and packing nutritious, non-perishable, and easy-to-prepare food into bags. Volunteers sorted soup, tuna fish, granola bars, crackers, apple sauce, and fruit cups into 250 bags. These bags were then delivered to nearby schools and given to kids who might not otherwise have access to food over the weekends. Brett Jensen, a Project Manager in the St. George office, said, “Providing service at Tan’s Treats was amazing. We’re blessed with so much that it was an honor to help families who may be struggling or are down on their luck.”

Founded in honor of Tanner Holt, Tan’s Treats works closely with local schools in Washington County, Utah, to serve the needs of hungry children in the community.
