Miami Office Donates to One Blood
Lochner’s Miami office held a blood drive with One Blood, a regional non-profit organization that serves hospitals throughout the Southeast. On July 22, 2020, our employees spent their lunch hour donating blood, which will be used to treat cancer and trauma patients as well as those suffering from chronic diseases.
Alexandra Ocampo, an entry-level engineer from Lochner’s Miami office, said, “We had the One Blood donation bus park in front of our building, and people who were shopping nearby saw the bus and came by to donate. Miami has been hit hard by COVID-19, so it was nice to get our staff together to do something good and to have it organically become a community event.”
Operating in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina, One Blood aims to enhance the health and well-being of others through blood donations and scientific research.
