Darren Poe Joins Lochner

Lochner’s Texas Region continues to grow its CEI program with the addition of Darren Poe, PE. He will be responsible for assisting with the strategic development, growth, and overall management of Texas’ CEI operations.

Darren joins Lochner’s Waco office as Associate Vice President and CEI Deputy Program Manager. His 27 years of experience includes a 21-year career with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), where he held various roles within both the Brownwood and Waco Districts. In his most recent role as Director of Construction for the Waco District, Darren oversaw up to $1.1 billion worth of construction projects in the eight county District, including the rebuild of IH-35, one of the most congested interstate corridors in Texas.

As the County Engineer for Coryell County, Texas, Darren was responsible for all roadway construction and maintenance activities for more than 600 miles of paved and unpaved roadways, in addition to overseeing a large FEMA grant program. Additionally, Darren served as the Assistant Director of Utilities for the City of Brownwood, Texas. In this role, he was responsible for all water distribution, wastewater collection, and wastewater treatment operations within the City.
