Paula Tomlins, CPA
Director of Finance
Paula Tomlins joined Lochner as a cost accountant in 1988. She currently serves as Director of Finance, previously serving as Salina office manager, controller, and southwest regional team leader. “I started my career in public accounting. The firm I was working for expected you to work 80 to 100 hours per week every tax season. That’s about a third of the year! I wanted a job where I could work in finance and accounting, but also have a work-life balance. I interviewed for a job with Lochner as a cost accountant and I’ve been here ever since.” Having found the balance she was seeking at Lochner, Paula strives to maintain an environment of work-life balance within the groups that she manages. She also understands that when our employees are happy, they are able to provide the focus and attention our clients deserve. Paula earned a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Marymount College.
