Kenneth W. Smith (Kenny) joins Lochner’s Raleigh, North Carolina, office as the Vice President and Office Manager, overseeing the office’s day-to-day operations.
With more than 34 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management, he is a valuable addition to the Lochner team of specialists. Prior to joining the firm, Kenny held leadership positions with Hatch Mott MacDonald, Stantec and TranSystems. He also served the North Carolina Department of Transportation for nine years, working in the Structure Design Unit.
Kenny is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina, South Carolina and Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is a Past President of ACEC of North Carolina.
